Vehicle Description

During its 1963-67 run, the second-generation Corvette Sting Ray was, and remains, a massive landmark in the Corvette’s rise to dominance as America’s only true series-production sports car. Sleek, aggressive and almost otherworldly in appearance, the second-generation Corvette’s brilliant design never fails to draw the attention of any car enthusiast with a pulse today. True driving enthusiasts tend to gravitate to one combining those iconic looks with the best of modern performance technologies and build quality, and this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is a great case in point with a professional build performed by Miller Customs Street Rods & Vettes LLC of Findlay, Ohio.

Based on a Coffman Corvette Performance C2 chassis, this Corvette features awesome power delivered by a 6.2L/455 HP LT1 engine backed by a Tremec TR6060 6-speed manual transmission. Extra performance is unlocked by a CVF Racing billet front pulley system, and cool running is assured with a Dewitt’s aluminum radiator and dual cooling fans. Braking power comes from a Wilwood system, with directional control achieved through the use of a Flaming River tilt steering column.

The stunning custom interior was upholstered by Portage Trim of Ravenna, Ohio, and year-round comfort is delivered by a direct-fit air conditioning system supplied by Classic Auto Air. Additional entertainment is available from an original-appearing Bluetooth/USB stereo system with Kenwood audio speakers mounted in-dash and at the kick panels. Classic-appearing side-exit pipes provide the real music from the hot LT1 engine, and a set of Corvette C7 Z06 chrome wheels mounting Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires provide the rolling stock. A black hood stinger and removable hard top finish the Corvette off nicely. If you are looking for an amazing second-generation Corvette with classic style and modern drivability and performance, this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible delivers the best of both possible worlds.
